Back after a long break!

I'm back.

It's been a LOOOOOOONNNNGG time.

I haven't done much. I've just been working. I couldn't get the class I wanted this summer so my summer is dedicated to being stranded at home and just going to work. I now realize what a blessing school is. It kept me away from home and all the people who are here to bug me. Haha.

I left for a while because Google said "we ain't paying you no mo' ". And I was a bit unhappy about that. So like a kid I quit. But then I remembered the real reason I made this blog. So that I could share my thoughts and pictures to the world (although my fanbase is REALLY tiny).

So adsense be damned. Being paid to spill my brains onto the web would have been nice. But even if I don't get paid it's a pretty nice thing to do.

If any of you care, I might not be posting too often. But if I do it will be things of importance and my artwork. Not just to get clicks and views. :) . Although I think I've been doing that already.

I finally finished a lil sumthin' a few minutes ago.
So I thought I'd share.

It's from the game "League of Legends". It is really fun and I don't ever tire of playing it. It's a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena type of game.
5 players on each team. Each player is something like a Mage, or Tank, Fighter, Assassin, Carrier, etc. They all have special roles and not only that. Each character (like 50 and counting) has a unique "Ultimate" move that sets them apart from the rest. And it's how you use your Ultimate(and on a lesser note your other 3 skills) that decides which team is the victor of the game. Ultimately, it's destroy their base before they destroy yours.

It's a really fun game but it takes a while to learn the basics and such.

My sorry ass attempt at Creppes

Here I am, playing Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I played the 2nd one. I loved it. Witty dialogue. Good gunfights. Great story. Good stuff. Anyways, amidst this first part of a soon to be 3 part series I says to meself,
"Hey Sal."
And I say, "What?"
"You know what would be fantastic?"
"What?"
"CREPPES"
So I say, "F*** yeah brain. You're a genius!"
  And off I go to make creppes using a recipe from "Dragmire's Recipes"!

Don't get me wrong. What Dragmire makes and what I make are two things entirely different. And here's why. His stuff looks good enough to eat. My stuff looks good enough to give a mercy kill.

I started out fine. I had my eggs, I had my milk, I had my butter, I had my flo-- I didn't have any flour. What DID I have? MASECA MASA, instant corn maize flour. Yeah, mexican to the max.  So I think to myself, fine, I'll make myself creppes but they might be a bit tortilla-y. GOOD GAWD WAS I EVER NAIVE.
What I made wasn't anything I could have foreseen. Well I did foresee it. It was a crepptilla. Tortilla textured creppes that were not too delicious but could still pass off fine drowned in fruits and lotsa syrup.

 CHEK IT BOYEEE:

"KILL ME PLEASE" says the crepptillas

SORROWFUL WASH OF DEFEAT AND HUNGER

Bottom line is. If you don't have all purpose flour. You ain't gettin' creppes. Your punk-ass is stayin' hungry.

That is of course you take the sissy way out and go get Jack in the Box.

But then again creppes probably aren't too nutritious.

Neither are jr. bacon cheeseburgers...

Bottom bottom line: I'm hungry.

Inspiration doesn't really have the best timing for me.
Would it kill Inspiration just to show up when I want it to? Like when in class or staring at a blank paper/canvas/screen?

JUST when I want to go to bed after long 6 hrs of standing up and moving, I feel the sudden URGE to draw. And I do. I whipped out my tablet
and doodled.

Her name is Niné. Like nine. But with an accent on the e to make it sound like nina. Ha. But its nine because that's how many colors I used. I think.

 Eh. I like my linework but I feel like something is missing. I still suck at backgrounds tho : / .

Just Great

So I cannot get the classes I had needed for the summer. Just a general Chemistry and any other thing would have been fine. But no. Every derp in the world needs to take Chem apparently. Sigh.

So I channel my thoughts into this picture in hopes that it will come true:

I haven't posted a lot recently but that's because of cramming and finals week. More to come soon?

Class gets nearer and nearer to finals. But also to Summer Break! (Not really a break considering I will also be in Summer School.)

But I was thinking I should share my beautiful notes with the world!

 On a side note, it's pretty damn hard to get these pics lined up in little rows of four. Frustrating too.

On another side note, I am enjoying a toasted chicken sandwich. My mouth and gums are all cut up on the inside. YUM. In the future I will only toast slightly.


And not too long ago I helped a friend move! It was fun and I was straight jelly because they had a whole house to themselves now. Pics to prove it happened:

This post is horribly mashed together because of the damn lil pictures and non of the captions line up but I kinda like it that way.

L.A. Noire

It came in the mail today!

I had ordered L.A. Noire off of amazon.com and I gotta admit it's the first game I have bought for my Playstation 3. So I am genuinely excited to play the game LAN after having a long day at school what with working on a school project and having a Calculus exam done. Playing LAN has been on the back of my mind since I saw it on my doorstep this morning.


My only iffy subject is that it was developed by Rockstar and I always figured them for a one trick pony seeing as how they were stuck in the GTA niche. But that isn't fair of me. I didn't give Red Dead Redemption a chance. I have been meaning to play it since I love cowboy stories. But what's cooler than cowboys?

I have seen the trailers for LAN and I gotta say they look good. I am all about the cinematic experience and L.A. Noire seems to want to deliver just that. I saw the acting of the characters and found out that they do those little dot things for 3-D recording and that got me real excited. As soon as I saw one little shoot of I DIDN'T DO IT and saw the man's face contort into an ugly look of guilt and shame I was sold.
To give you an example of how cinematic I like it. I'm the kind of guy who will make my character walk when I can run just because in that situation, that's what the guy would do. He would walk after an intense gun fight when finally given a moment of peace. Stuff like that.

Although, when it comes to games I'm a cheapass gamer. I say that with pride but it's a habit I must break. And relinquishing this title if CAG for a $60 game like L.A. Noire is something I am more than glad to do.

So here I go into Los Angeles to do detective stuff. With big expectations and tints of excitedness.

Detecting.

One change to this post: I downloaded a suit for registering with social club of this game. I find it funny that this downloaded suit will give me better accuracy with BAR gun and shotguns. Funny.
If I need a steady hand I better wear a different tie.

A year from now
